Networking Essentials is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to configure, implement, maintain and troubleshoot TCP/IP-based computer networks. This course provides the student with hands-on experience in planning, configuring and supporting computer networks and computer networking devices. Students will learn the concept of IP addressing, computer networking cabling and components, network security, and subnetting, Prerequisite: CYBR-108 with a minimum grate of C or better. TWO hours lecture and two hours laboratory each week, Three credits. Three billable hours, Offered Fall, Spring, Summer terms.
